About the luthier
I've been working on guitars since 1996 experiencing construction, reparation and restauration with dozens of musical instruments, mostly guitars. I work alone and I make no more than few instruments at year. Actually my point of view about luthery goes back to tradition so I prefer animal glue or french padded shellac instead of chemicals, chisels instead of power tools. My choices of material and building techniques give clear evidence of improvements in tone balance and projection.
Few technical adjustments helped me to find a sound that I consider ideal. Clean notes along the fretboard, full trebles both in nylon and in steel strings, high number of partials in bass strings, prominent vibrato. My instruments are light weight, I prefer beauty of sound than power.
It takes me several months to make a good guitar and I don't usually make two identical guitars. Email me to know about measures, woods, glues, prices, and all informations you need.
